I've zeroed out all the ratings for the gallery "weekly assignment" images. Some outstanding images in the weekly assignment albums were receiving "1 star" ratings, so I can only assume that someone misunderstood the rating system, and thought that "1-star" was the highest rating, or accidentally applied a "1-star" rating instead of the intended rating. Unfortunately that isn't fair to the individuals who's images received the "1-star" ratings. The only way I could correct this error was by zeroing out all ratings.
We will resume voting for the "weekly assignment" images after I can devise a better "voting" system and provide clearer instructions. For now the rating system is turned off in the weekly assignment gallery.
Thank you to everyone that has participated in the weekly assignments, and to everyone that has commented on the submissions. Hopefully this will continue to be a positive experience for everyone that participates.
