New Year's Resolutions
« on: January 03, 2010, 05:25:46 PM »
I was just looking back at last year's weekly assignments and smiled at the first assignment of 2009 'resolutions'.  Just curious, how did everyone do on your 'resolutions'?  Becky, did you do better staying in touch with people via 'snail mail'?

Jeannine, how many trips to Mueller State Park did you make?

Rick and Sue -- did you get out and about more?  I'd say you did fairly well based on subsequent weekly assignment posts from many hikes.

I, personally, pretty much failed.  McKenzie made it to bed by 7pm very few times this year, but having that goal did help get her asleep by 8 or 8:30 most nights!

Keith, was just downstairs using the old Nordic Trak, which he just started using a few weeks ago -- so by the end of the year, he got back to his resolution!

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and I look forward to getting to know everyone better and seeing lots more awesome photography in 2010!

Hi Rebecca, I did not do the 10,000 steps a day that I had wanted but I didn't do to bad. I had 2,400,000 steps which gave me 1,100 miles for a average of almost 6,700 steps and 3 miles a day. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2010. I am really looking forward to the Yellowstone workshop in September! Keep the shutter clicking.

Rebecca, I didn't quite make my resolution of 10,000 steps a day either, but looking at my yearly total, I'm amazed!  Steps 2,208,089, Aerobic Steps 965,109, Aerobic Walking Tim (Min) 8,064, Calories burned 68,456, Distance (Miles) 960.83, Fat Burned (g) 4,254.3.  So, my daily average in steps was 6,134.  The answer to the question did I loose weight ... the answer is no .. unfortunately!  I love wearing a pedometer.

Thanks Rick and Sue - I'd like to hook pedometers to McKenzie and Evan --I bet they do 10,000 a day  (they could do that all in one room!).  Keep moving in 2010 too!!
