Fall is in the air in Colorado, and the weather in the mountains can best be described as "brisk." The Aspen are changing colors at higher altitudes, and winter will soon be on the way. Autumn is one of the most beautiful times in the Rocky Mountains, as the foliage changes and the wildlife are actively preparing for a long winter.

Normally Aspen in Colorado are a brilliant yellow in the Fall.
Some areas have a genetic variation that adds a beautiful red tinged orange to the mix. I suspect that "spring is in the air" in the southern hemisphere, and that many beautiful images can be created there as well.
