Phone BoothI noticed this in Leura on an early morning walk late last year. Morning mist in the background. It simply appealed to me. Oh, The Eucalypt in the background is commonly referred to as 'Scribbly Gum' (Eucalyptus Sclerophylla) and is one of the 7 or 8 Eucalypts which abound in the upper mountains area. A very attractive medium sized tree of "twisted" habits with marks resembling 'scribble' which are left after an insect burrows beneath the layers of bark.
