ParenthoodI hate to think I missed an assignment. I may be running late but as the cliché says, "better late than never".
GQ PoseFor all of you around in the 1980's, Evan did his 'GQ' pose for me! He had heard us talking about posing hands and wanted to try for me before we headed to church this morning. I just love my little model!
Healing hands across race and colour 3I chose this shot because of the contrast in skin colour

Healing hands across race and colourVivian, our Ghanean friend is the best physiotherapist I know. When she visited, I could not resist asking permission to photograph her healing hands.
Trimmed and presentable. Those hands define the character of the Gorilla. He is close relative and in many ways much like us.
Rings Take TwoWe didn't have time to take the "ring shot" until late in the reception, and so had to make do with dim room lights and a flash bounced off the ceiling. The bride and groom were tired at this point, and so it was a bit more difficult to "pose" the hands than what I expected.
Commencement HandsCommencement went a bit faster today than usual -- i brought my camera, had a front row seat and tried to capture what I could (unfortunately I forgot my telephoto lens). I was wishing the assignment had been "feet" because I was mesmerized by the diversity of shoes that walked across the stage. Since I didn't have great close-ups I decided to create a collage. I'd hoped to capture the turning of the tassels but that went by too quickly.
