My First Published Photo
Great News!!! I just had my first photo published in a majory magazine "Digital Photo". It will be coming out in there April issue. I was able to get a sneak peek with a PDF that they sent me. It was taken last fall at Cowtown here in Wichita, Kansas during the Emerald City Steampunk Expo. Many people from the Expo came out to Cowtown which provided a great backdrop for there awesome costumes. Big thanks to Cat Connolly who was the model in this photo, she was awesome to work with. Hope you enjoy - jack

Rosa FixDr. Joyce Thiere, of Ride into History, portrays the figure Rosa Fix. Dappled natural light was chose to add energy and interest to the lighting. A Nikon SB900 fill flash, set at -1, was used to tame the contrast.

Yosh FaceThis is also one of the first photos I took with my D90. I actually liked this photo so much I printed it out on 13x11 and have it framed on my wall :)

Yosh YellMy son was actually laughing at me hysterically during this photo. I am a huge Heroes fan and when I was looking at this photo I thought of one of the Heroes webisodes where the guys power was his voice. He had an interesting effect that came from his mouth so I attempted to reproduce that here.
