Here's one a bit more traditional from today's rehearsal, using specular highlights as the main light source.

DancersHere's an experiment with the important highlights in motion, from a seasonal celebration in Emporia today. Dunno if it works, but I wanted to capture the flow of the dancers' movements. They're holding glow sticks in a darkened auditorium.

Angels in usWB and spotmetered a Babel White Target card to +3.0EV; 14-bit NEF; adobeRGB in-camera; linear tonal curve in-camera and CaptureNX2. Tripod, wired shutter, m-up. PP in CaptureNX2.
The Angels (including their clothes) are made from Philippine abaca fibers.
