In the WoodsNature can put together some beautiful arrangements.
Bundle in the woodsLook what we found in the woods at the BOW workshop at Peaceful Valley Ranch. The bundle cried for an hour solid tonight, but I'm glad we brought her home!
AlstroemeriaI always thought "Intimate Landscapes" referred to flowers. I decided to do something I had never done for the assignment today. I went and bought some cut flowers and set up a studio in the kitchen. Probably the best part was being able to take the card out of the camera and check the results on the computer. This helped me refine the composition like I had never been able to do before in the field. It was a great experience and I learned a lot.
Cascade at Peaceful Valley RanchRebecca and I stayed pretty busy teaching photography classes for Becoming an Outdoors Woman this weekend, but I managed to squeeze in a few minutes after class to photograph the stream behind the lodge.

The ArbourThis looks so inviting.

Mirror Lake, YosemiteMirror Lake in Yosemite is gradually filling up with silt and will become a water meadow in the future. But it's well worth the walk up about half a mile of gentle hill. Sadly, pressed for time, I didn't manage to get a moment when the water was perfectly still because of some darned birds that kept swimming by. But I did like th colo(u)rs of this rock and the quality of the reflection.
Dame's by the creeksideWe have a beautiful creek that run's across from our house and it endlessly presents me with photographic opportunity's.
The CatamountThis is what greeted me when we hiked up the catamount trail in Green Mountain Falls
