The assignment for the week of 8 - 14 June 2009 is "Macro." Your images should portray interesting (close up) details of everyday objects. Pay attention to shape and form, since these are often the primary compositional elements of macro images. Since depth of field is very limited at close focus distances, you will need to pay close attention to where you place your plane of focus, and what portions of the image you chose to blur into the background. Remember that an element of the image that is only partially in focus can be very distracting. You should attempt to control the transition from "in focus" to "out of focus" in order to minimize partially focused distractions in your images.
