Bristlecone Pines

Photographed at dusk on Keith's most recent workshop at Mt. Evans. For some reason, the color of the original image was far too blue, perhaps caused by the polarizer filter. So, I removed the color in Lightroom and was intrigued by the resulting image which accents the forms and texture of these amazing pines. I like the negative and positive space created by the tree in the right upper third and the arch in the lower left third.

Jim,
Excellent rendition of this scene. I like the composition, and the transition to B&W really makes this image.
