The guidelines for this assignment (http://community.spiritofphotography.com/index.php?topic=835.0) were simply to compose an image that conveys the concept of HEAT. In addition, I challenged Marilyn (and others) to try to capture the "heat waves" or atmospheric distortion that often happens with extremely hot ground surface temperatures.
