Hi Sara,

Welcome to our little community.  Please don't hesitate to post images in the galleries or join our discussions in the forums.  If you have time, our weekly assignments are a great opportunity to practice techniques and work on improving our photography.

I'll look forward to seeing some of your images.

Keith

Hi Sara,

I am pretty new to this place too but since I have joined, I have learned so much.  I love looking at other people's photos and can't wait to see yours.  I love the rain shot.

If you can, join us in the assignments, they are a lot of fun.  Everybody here is very motivating and all questions (trust me, no matter how small or big) are answered very clearly.  I have asked a LOT of questions.  Keith, the man who runs the site, is very thorough and encouraging.

Anyways, have a great day.

Michèle

Hi Sara,
Welcome to the photography community!  And, great to see another Kansan!  What camera do you most often shoot with?  What area of Kansas are you from?   I hope you will find the discussions and weekly assignments helpful in your photography journey.   And, of course, we'd love to have you on a workshop at some point in the future.    We are hoping to get a fair number of Kansans on the site and do some photography outings like we do when we visit back to Colorado Springs.  You can see some postings from our outings in the forum as well.

By the way, Sara, I'm Keith's wife and photography buddy and mother to our two budding photographers, Evan (4 yrs.) and McKenzie (21 months).  And, yes, I cut and pasted from my welcome to Mike as naptime is nearing  an end and I'm running out of time to be on the computer :-)
