Voting for the "Cropped" Weekly Photography Assignment
« on: April 19, 2010, 11:38:42 AM »
Please vote for your favorite image from the "Cropped" assignment for the "People's Choice" award.  The guidelines for this assignment were to crop an image in order to remove extraneous or distracting elements from a composition and better focus the viewers attention on the primary subject, improve the position of elements within the scene, or better balance the composition.

To vote for an image, simply select the image title in the "poll" attached at the top of this thread, and click "submit vote."  NOTE:  You need to be logged in to see the voting options.  Voting will end at midnight, Mountain Time (GMT-07:00) on Sunday, 25 April 2010.  I've included both the original and cropped versions of the submitted images so that you can see the rationale for and improvements resulting from the various crops.

Don't forget to vote!

(This was another assignment where it was tough to choose which image to vote for.  There were several images where the crop significantly improved the composition, so it was tough to choose the one that "best" met the assignment guidelines.)
