Hello from Cologne / Germany

As suggested I would like to give you a short intrduction...

My name is Gunnar (35 atm) and in less than two weeks my new adress will be found in Cologne.

I've been interested in photography for +/- 5 years now. Started with a compact Konika, followed by my 1st DSLR (Nikon D70), D200 (2 years later) and now I try my best with a Nikon D3.

My main interests are landscape / nature as well as portraits (well, I am a bloody beginner in this section).

Welcome to the community!  Thank you very much for taking the time to introduce yourself. 

We will look forward to corresponding with you in the discussion forums and seeing some of your images in the gallery.  It has been many, many years since I have visited Cologne, so I would love to see your images of that beautiful city.

I have used the D3 for about 9 months now, and am very happy with the camera.  Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about the camera. 

Hopefully you will be able to participate in our weekly assignments as well.
