Title: “One World”—Weekly photography assignment for 15-21 February , 2010
Post by: RebeccaSnell on February 14, 2010, 03:53:50 PM
The assignment for the week of 15-21 February is “One World”.  In honor of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games bringing the world together this week, use your photographic eye to capture something in your town or area that shows how another area of the world has influenced your town.   Please give a good description of the subject--tell where it is, what it is (if necessary) and how it has influenced your area.   I hope we can all get to know each other a little better through this assignment and learn more of the areas where we live.  If you happen to be traveling, check out the area you are and see if you see any foreign influences.  Marilyn, this is an easy one for you living so close to Las Vegas where the strip is lined with building designs copying icons all over the world.

So, this is just a fun weekly assignment.  While Keith is traveling, we’ll have a brief break from the technical aspects of photography and have a little fun.  Then, it will be back to the hard core learning  ;)

Please post your images to the "One World" album no-later-than midnight, Mountain Time (GMT -07:00) on Sunday, 21 February 2010.

I'll look forward to seeing your images.

Rebecca
