The guidelines for this assignment were to use manual metering mode and spot/partial area metering to properly expose a subject with a "Zone VI" exposure. The assignment description (http://community.spiritofphotography.com/index.php?topic=516.0) suggested caucasian skin tones, or pastel colors as potential Zone VI subjects.
