This Community was established in order to share our passion for photography and travel. There are many photography forums and websites online; however, most of them are oriented towards reviewing or discussing new equipment, or teaching photoshop. Very few are oriented towards discussing the "art" of photography. Like many other photographers, we are constantly searching for inspiration, and striving to improve the creative aspects of our photography. Hopefully this Community will provide a comfortable gathering place for like-minded photographers.

You are most welcome to stop in as a guest, browse through the forums and view the galleries that are open to the general public. If you would like to post in the forums or galleries, please register as a member. Membership is free, and provides the benefit of a "member gallery" that you can use to share images with friends and family and our photography community.

We encourage you to join in the discussions, share your images, participate in the weekly assignments and join us for our "outings" if you are able. We guarantee that if you actively participate on this website, your photography will improve.

Weekly Assignment Update, 05 May 2012

The Universe of Small Creatures - Close-up and macro photography of bugs, bees, spiders, butterflies - is the assignment through May 13th. If you can't find good bugs in your area we'll take any small creature (i.e. frogs, toads, lizards, up to cat size). Most of them probably have a bug on'em somewhere anyway.
